Weekly Business Report Generator
Type in this week's numbers (and last week's, if you have them) and get a one-page weekly report: leads, reply speed, quotes, close rate, revenue, cash and what needs attention, with changes worked out for you. Everything runs in your browser: no signup, nothing stored or sent.
This is a plain summary of the numbers you typed in. It doesn't connect to your email, bank or calendar, and nothing leaves your browser. Close rate is jobs won divided by quotes sent in the same week, so it jumps around in small weeks; look at the trend over a month.
What goes in a good weekly report
A weekly report for a small business only has to answer three questions: is work coming in, is it turning into money, and what is about to slip? The nine numbers above cover all three:
- Pipeline: new leads, first reply time, quotes sent and jobs won. Close rate and average job size are worked out for you.
- Money: revenue booked, cash actually collected, and unpaid invoices. Booked and collected are different numbers, and the gap between them is where cash flow problems hide.
- Loose ends: quotes with no reply and emails you still owe. These are the cheapest wins of the week.
The "better" and "worse" labels follow the obvious direction: more leads and cash is better, slower replies and more unpaid invoices is worse. For the reasoning and a fuller template, see the weekly sales report template, the weekly review template and the KPI dashboard in Google Sheets.
Fifteen minutes every Monday
- Pull the numbers from your inbox, quotes and invoices (or your lead sheet, if you keep one).
- Type them in here and read the "needs attention" list.
- Pick your top 3 for the week, then copy or download the report and keep it with last week's.
The slow part is step 1. If you don't track leads yet, start with this lead tracking spreadsheet or read how to track leads without a CRM. Slow replies showing up in the report? The free follow-up schedule generator and lead response time calculator help there.
Let a workflow write it for you
Typing numbers in by hand works, but it is the first habit to slip in a busy week. The Weekly CEO Report Kit for n8n counts your leads, replies, overdue emails and stuck quotes from Gmail and your lead sheet, writes this same one-page report, and saves it as a Gmail draft to you every Monday at 7 AM. Code does the counting and a check strips any number the AI made up. The Solo Ops Command Center bundle adds the inbox and lead follow-up kits plus a dashboard sheet.
